General Electric is a Bunch of Fuckwits and Sears Maintenance are Incompetent LIars
So we have, or more probably, HAD, a GE dryer. With the world's loudest buzzer that let you know that the cycle was up.

You could not alter this buzzer. You could not turn off this buzzer. We live in an apartment and the buzzer is louder than a smoke detector, louder than most fire alarms.

So we needed to disconnect it. Sears said it was a very low priority, even though we paid for the super platinum deluxe extended quadruple bypass warranty and service plan, and that we could expect no help from them in the near future, but that if we wanted, we could disconnect it ourselves.

I did. It worked for precisely one cycle, then died.

Reconnecting it does not help one iota.

So now we're just plain fucked. I'd also bet the fucking house, so to speak, or my fucking computer, not to use a metaphor, that they'll refuse to fix this under the warranty despite authorizing us to disconnect it ourselves after refusing to do their own job in a timely manner.

Yeah. From now on, I'm never having any communication with anyone on any matter other than ordering a pizza without a voice recorder turned on.
